Job summary

MedVet is hiring an Operations Technician to manage hospital inventory, coordinate with centralized purchasing, and ensure timely delivery of prescriptions, supplies, and equipment. You will work with clinical managers to determine weekly orders and keep backorders to a minimum.

The role requires accuracy, a sense of urgency, and collaboration with hospital leadership. Training and ongoing support are provided within a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Qualifications

• Inventory experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Works well in a team and autonomously.
• Detail oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates and submits orders to centralized purchasing based on par levels and frequency.
• Receives shipments and matches to purchase orders in the hospital system.
• Maintains inventory rotation and cleanliness in Central Supply.
• Communicates backorders or delays to hospital leadership and procurement.
