Midwestern University is seeking a Specialty Care Veterinary Technician, Radiology at the Companion Animal Clinic in Glendale, AZ. The role supports the Diagnostic Imaging Service by delivering high-quality imaging and training veterinary students while ensuring patient care and safety.

The position involves performing radiographic procedures across modalities (digital radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) and requires leadership potential with opportunities for advancement through Level

Qualifications

• Proficiency in veterinary diagnostic imaging procedures and anesthesia support.
• Excellent communication and teaching abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and students with diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Perform digital radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and contrast imaging.
• Prepare, position, monitor, and recover patients.
• Ensure radiation and MRI safety compliance.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment and software.
• Teach and mentor veterinary students in imaging procedures.
• Maintain imaging supplies and records.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff for radiologist review.
• Participate in continuing education and QA initiatives.
