Job summary

Sage Veterinary Imaging is seeking a Veterinary Technician I to provide patient care while developing advanced skills in anesthesia, diagnostic imaging, and specialty veterinary medicine. You will work with doctors, radiologists, and senior technicians to safely care for patients undergoing MRI, CT, ultrasound, and other imaging procedures, focusing on safety, accuracy, and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician required.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced specialty environment.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient admission and nursing care.
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Diagnostic sample collection and handling.
• Basic anesthesia preparation, monitoring, and recovery.
• MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiology patient preparation.
• Accurate medical record documentation.
• Infection prevention and hospital safety.
• Equipment preparation and maintenance.
• Effective communication with clients and medical team.
• Development toward independent anesthesia management.
