Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Boston is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to elevate client and patient experiences while supporting the Practice Manager and Chief of Staff. You will supervise daily operations and help maximize productivity and profitability.

You will also schedule staff, ensure policy compliance, and step in as Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant when needed to maintain excellent care and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; two years veterinary hospital experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work at a computer for long periods and manage administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team to ensure quality medical care and exceptional client service.
• Assist the Practice Manager and COS in guiding the hospital to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Perform duties of a Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant when needed.
• Schedule associates to meet client needs and proactively plan CE scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with Banfield policies and dress guidelines.
• Handle other job duties as assigned.
