Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to guide a Busy team, support the Practice Manager, and ensure top-tier client and pet experiences. The role includes acting as Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant as needed.

You will help maintain high standards, schedule staff, and uphold Banfield protocols while building a positive culture and delivering quality care for pets and clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to work at a computer for long periods.
• Must be comfortable around various pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles).
• This position requires working weekends and evenings.
• Must have reading, writing, and spoken English proficiency.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital team to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Assist Practice Manager and COS, ensuring effective communication with clients and staff.
• Perform Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties when needed.
