Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is hiring a Hospital Operations Manager to lead the hospital paraprofessional team and partner with Veterinary staff to ensure patient-first care and excellent client service.

The role focuses on scheduling, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration with store teams to deliver a cohesive Petco Total Care experience while controlling costs and driving revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in veterinary practice or 2+ years of strong leadership experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions, delegate tasks and drive results with hospital partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital paraprofessionals to drive operational excellence and high-quality patient care.
• Coordinate scheduling and payroll costs with the Area Operations Manager and HRBP.
• Oversee hiring, training, reviewing, counseling and separation of paraprofessional partners.
• Interface with store team to drive a seamless patient experience and revenue growth.
• Maintain hospital inventory, patient records and accounts receivable.
