Star Valley Veterinary Clinic offers an externship experience at an NVA hospital, Kentuckiana Animal Clinic, to understand daily practice operations within a supportive environment dedicated to excellent medicine and exceptional service to animals and their people.

Externs work closely with supervising Associate Veterinarians to gain hands-on experience in histories, exams, treatment planning, diagnostics, dentistry, surgical observation or participation, and medical management, while building

• Gaining hands-on clinical experience under supervision
• Exposure to veterinary clinical workflows
• Developing communication with the medical team and clients

• Assist with gathering patient histories and performing physical exams
