Abqpetcarehospital in Lewis Center, Ohio, offers an externship for third and fourth-year veterinary students to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience while participating in day-to-day operations at the hospital. Responsibilities include gathering patient histories, performing examinations, and assisting with various medical procedures.

Third and fourth-year veterinary students.
Eligible students receive a travel/living expense stipend, including reimbursement for gas and food up to $100 per week and a schedule of 5 days on, 2 days off. Students in the clinical portion of their education are also eligible for a stipend program.
