South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (SAVES) in Asheville, NC is hiring an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our 24/7 hospital. This full-time role focuses on front-desk contact, client communication, check-in/out, scheduling, and supporting an emergency and specialty team in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation ranges from $19 to $21 per hour based on experience, with $1 weekend and $6 overnight differentials.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of veterinary office experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy and professionalism during sensitive situations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Comfortable learning new software and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate client service during patient visits.
• Greet clients, manage check-ins/check-outs, and coordinate flow.
• Schedule follow-ups and coordinate appointments and admissions.
• Operate a multi-line phone system and manage calls, texts, emails.
• Process payments and review invoices with clients.
• Support clients through euthanasia paperwork with empathy.
• Update records and complete end-of-shift reporting.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and keep front desk organized.
