New Frontier Animal Medical Center is seeking a qualified veterinary laboratory professional to support immunological and molecular assays for animal disease diagnosis. The role involves preparing reagents, performing diagnostic tests, and providing interpretation to stakeholders in a regulated lab environment.

The incumbent will work within safety and quality standards to contribute to disease prevention and eradication efforts, collaborating with state and federal partners as needed.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required and eligible for relevant federal qualification.
• Experience with specialized laboratory techniques for diagnostic assay development or evaluation.
• Ability to apply ISO standards and SOP development in a laboratory setting.

Responsabilités

• Develops immunological and molecular assays for diagnosis of animal diseases.
• Performs microbiological techniques and prepares reagents for diagnostics.
• Provides diagnostic interpretation to stakeholders and supports disease control efforts.
• Participates in experimental designs for diagnostics and reagents.
• Manages inventory and ensures quality control and safety in laboratory operations.
