Job summary

Zoetis seeks a Lab Tech 2 to perform routine tests supporting animal health diagnosis. You will prepare specimens, operate analyzers, maintain records, and ensure quality in the Global Diagnostics division.

Responsibilities include maintenance, QC review, SOP adherence, and collaboration with veterinarians and lab staff. Shift is 9:30am-6pm, Monday-Friday, full-time on-site in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree required; equivalent combo accepted.
• 2-3 years of practical clinical laboratory experience.
• Proficient in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, endocrinology, parasitology, cytology.
• Experience with listed instruments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare biological specimens for testing across departments.
• Operate high-throughput analyzers and other diagnostic equipment.
• Set up, run, review, and release test results per SOPs.
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on analyzers.
• Troubleshoot analyzers and review quality control data.
• Handle and store biological specimens per SOPs and dispose waste properly.
• Maintain clean, organized lab workspace and logs.
• Prepare specimens for shipment to offsite facilities per DOT rules.
• Log laboratory supplies and operate secondary equipment.
• Support training and act as SME on departmental projects.
