AmeriVet Veterinary Partners in Woodbridge Township, NJ, is seeking a friendly front-desk receptionist to join our caring team. You will welcome clients and pets, manage check-ins/outs, schedule appointments, and assist with billing while coordinating with veterinary staff.

The role emphasizes clear communication, patient care, and a team-oriented atmosphere. Prior veterinary clinic experience and strong customer service skills are essential for success and growth within our practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• 1 year in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients on arrival and notify staff when they arrive.
• Check in/out patients; process payments.
• Answer phone calls and route as necessary; handle faxes and emails promptly.
• Act as liaison between clients and medical staff to relay information.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments and identify potential emergencies.
• Maintain client/patient accounts and obtain medical records as needed.
• Educate clients about preventatives and routine care.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness.
