Lowell Road Veterinary Center in Hudson, NH, is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the practice. You will manage front desk operations, assist clients, and coordinate appointments with empathy and professionalism.
The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a friendly, organized approach. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with hourly pay of $18–$23.
Lowell Road Veterinary Center is a state of the art, multi-doctor veterinary hospital that offers personal, progressive, and comprehensive animal care to dogs, cats, and pocket pets in the Hudson, New Hampshire. We understand all the different ways your pet communicates love and trust. Our hospital offers many services including annual wellness care, anesthesia and sedation, dentistry, internal medicine, laser therapy, in-house pharmacy, surgery, urgent/immediate care, rehabilitation services, and acupuncture. We are ready with a positive, experienced support staff and excellent clientele and well equipped with ultrasound, underwater treadmill therapy, massage therapy, digital radiography, dental x-ray, and a complete in-house laboratory. We also have our sister hospital 25 minutes down the road in Bedford, New Hampshire, Bedford Veterinary Medical Center.

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionateVeterinary Receptionistto be the welcoming face and helpful voice of our practice. You'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations while providing outstanding client service and support to our veterinary team.
About the Role:
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients—both in person and over the phone. You’ll help guide them through their visits with empathy, professionalism, and care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting clients and patients warmly upon arrival
Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
Triage client concerns and direct them appropriately
Answering phone calls and emails; routing inquiries as needed
Scheduling appointments efficiently to maintain daily flow
Checking clients in and out, processing payments, and reviewing invoices
Offering emotional support during sensitive or stressful situations
Supporting a positive client experience from start to finish
Who We’re Looking For:
At least 1 year of veterinary receptionist or animal care experience preferred
Compassionate, calm, and confident communicator
Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Strong computer and organizational skills
Positive attitude, team player, and proactive problem-solver
Self-starter with a desire for continued learning and professional growth
Job Type:Full-time and Part-time
Pay:$18-$23/hr
