Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service / Order Entry specialist in Columbus, OH. You will assist customers, process orders and returns, and maintain accurate records across multiple systems.

You will generate reports, monitor shipments for on-time delivery, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines while coordinating with sales and manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• General computer proficiency including MS Office.
• Experience in veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP or related ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal and external customers and sales reps with order entry.
• Process customer transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns.
• Maintain accurate customer, territory, and facility records and document interactions.
• Generate reports and monitor shipment dates for timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Follow accounts receivable policies and verify prices and terms.
