Mixlab, the fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy in Texas, seeks a Compounding Pharmacy Technician dedicated to accuracy and pet care. You will assist with sterile and non-sterile preparations under a supervising pharmacist and help maintain inventory and records.

A TX Pharmacy Technician registration and 2+ years of relevant experience are required. Ideal candidates have a pet-focused mindset, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with TX Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacy Technician.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a compounding setting.
• Experience in veterinary care or medical field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with compounding non-sterile and sterile preparations under supervision.
• Ensure accuracy and potency of prescriptions and labels.
• Package, label prescriptions, and manage inventory levels.
• Maintain records including SDS and Certificates of Analysis.
• Perform environmental monitoring and routine cleaning.
