Mixlab, a fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy in Los Angeles, is seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician. You will assist in nonsterile compounding, packaging and labeling, and inventory management under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a pharmacy tech in compounding, passion for pets, and the ability to thrive in a busy environment. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years as a pharmacy technician in a compounding setting.
• Experience in veterinary care or medical field, or strong interest.
• Customer-focused mindset, especially for pet care.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Able to stand 50% of the time.
• Able to move boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team player.
• Willing to wear multiple hats and help the team.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays.
• MUST LOVE PETS and their people.

Responsibilities

• Assist with compounding nonsterile preparations under supervising pharmacist.
• Maintain accuracy and potency standards.
• Package and label prescriptions, including bulk medicines.
• Monitor inventory and reorder supplies.
• Follow USP guidelines for non-sterile compounding.
• Support team and problem-solve with pharmacist.
