Mixlab, the fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy, is hiring a Compounding Pharmacy Technician in our Florida pharmacy. You will prepare orders, verify patient data, and maintain accurate records to support smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years as a pharmacy technician in a compounding setting, preferably with veterinary or medical field exposure, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a pharmacy technician working with pharmacists in a compounding setting.
• Experience in veterinary care or medical field preferred.
• Customer-focused mindset with pet-centric service approach.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure calmly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders by confirming data, counting, labeling and packing medications.
• Ensure accuracy of patient information and maintain records.
• Check prescriptions for completeness and validity.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and logistics to troubleshoot issues and improve operations.
• Maintain inventory records in line with regulations and company policies.
• Keep an organized work area and support cross-training across functions.
• Suggest digital process changes to enhance the pet-parent experience.
