Job summary

Mixlab, the first modern pet pharmacy, is hiring a Compounding Pharmacy Technician for its Los Angeles location. You will support nonsterile compounding under the supervision of the managing pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation of capsules, liquids, topicals, and pet meds.

You should have at least 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a compounding setting, ideally with veterinary care exposure.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a compounding setting.
• Experience in veterinary care or medical field preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and teamwork.
• Able to work nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Comfortable with stock and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with non-sterile compounding under supervising pharmacist.
• Package and label prescriptions and manage inventory.
• Adhere to USP guidelines for compounding.
• Maintain accuracy and strong documentation.
• Collaborate with team to support operations in LA pharmacy.
