You will assist with nonsterile compounding under supervision, manage inventory, label and package prescriptions, and collaborate with the pharmacist to ensure timely, reliable service for veterinarians and pet owners.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a compounding setting.
• Experience in veterinary care or medical field is a plus or strong interest in the field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in compounding and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with compounding nonsterile preparations (capsules, oral liquids, topicals, otic, medicated treats) under pharmacist supervision.
• Meet standards of accuracy and potency.
• Package and label prescriptions, including bulk medications.
• Monitor inventory levels and re-order low/incoming stock.
• Adhere to USP guidelines for non-sterile compounding.
• Perform environmental monitoring and cleanings as per SOPs.
• Collaborate with team members and problem-solve with pharmacist support.
