PAWS Chicago offers a role as Assistant Manager, Clinic Support in a fast-paced, high-volume spay/neuter clinic. You will support the Practice Manager with daily operations, staff management, and workflow optimization to maintain efficiency, safety, and quality care.

The position emphasizes training, leadership, and process improvement, with a focus on patient safety and team development. Sunday availability is required as part of clinic coverage.

Qualifications

• CVT credential preferred.
• 2-4 years of clinical veterinary experience.
• Experience in training or mentoring veterinary staff is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily staffing for technicians and assistants.
• Monitor patient flow and adjust workflow for efficiency.
• Provide on-floor leadership and coaching to staff.
• Support onboarding and training of technicians and assistants.
• Assist with HR functions for clinic staff and volunteers.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
