Job summary

Bush Lake Pet Hospital in Bloomington/Eden Prairie area is seeking a Client Service Representative to deliver exceptional client experiences and handle routine practice administration. The role supports reception, records maintenance, and appointment tracking, ensuring smooth daily operations.

The position requires a high school diploma, weekend availability, and a preference for prior veterinary experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend availability as required.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety techniques and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and practice procedures.
• Maintains front desk, reception area, waiting area, office and exam rooms to be clean and presentable.
• Processes cash, checks, charge card payments and credit account payments.
• Schedules appointments for the clinic adhering to practice and Doctor preferences and ensures appropriate workflow.
• Assists in updating client/patient files as needed.
• Prepares and sends client correspondence.
• Sends reminder notices and conducts recalls to clients.
• Performs backup of the computer system as directed.
• Performs posting of daily business.
• Welcomes clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor and ensures a great experience.
• Answers incoming calls with proper etiquette.
• Presents medications, instructions, and take-home items to clients.
• Handles emergencies with care and according to clinic policies.
• Addresses client concerns calmly to ensure satisfaction.
