Chambers Prairie Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly Client Service Representative to join our four-doctor veterinary team. You will welcome clients, manage appointments, and coordinate front-desk communications in a fast-paced clinic.

The role emphasizes warmth, organization, and clear communication, with a schedule Tue–Sat from 9 am–6 pm. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service or office experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities.
• A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• The ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and a friendly attitude.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients in person and by phone.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate the hospital calendar.
• Help manage client inquiries and route medical concerns appropriately.
• Check clients and patients in and out for appointments.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records.
• Update information within the hospital’s practice management system.
• Assist with billing and payment processes.
• Help coordinate veterinary services, procedures, and follow-up needs.
• Communicate hospital policies, scheduling information, and service details clearly.
• Support veterinarians, technicians, and assistants as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information.
• Provide empathetic support during sensitive or emotional conversations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Support teammates and contribute to an efficient front-desk workflow.
• Help create a positive experience for every client and patient.
