Bush Lake Pet Hospital in Bloomington/Eden Prairie is seeking a Customer Service Representative to welcome clients, manage front desk, and handle appointment tracking. You will process payments, maintain records, and support the veterinary team to ensure an exceptional client experience.

Weekend availability, a high school diploma, and prior veterinary office experience are preferred. We offer benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and practice procedures.
• Ensure all public areas are clean and presentable for patients; maintain front desk, reception area, waiting area, office, public bathrooms and exam rooms.
• Process cash, checks, charge card payments and credit account payments.
• Schedule appointments for the clinic adhering to practice and Doctor preferences and ensure appropriate workflow.
• Assist in updating client/patient files as needed.
• Prepare and send client correspondence.
• Send reminder notices to clients for periodic notifications; conduct follow-ups from a callback list.
• Perform regular backup of the computer system as directed.
• Post daily business activities and oversee related tasks.
• Welcome clients and patients with a warm and friendly demeanor and ensure an excellent experience during visits.
• Answer incoming telephone calls with proper telephone etiquette.
• Present clients with medications, instructions, new client kits and other take-home items.
• Handle emergency situations with care and in accordance with clinic policies and procedures.
• Address client concerns calmly to ensure a satisfactory experience.

Overview

Bush Lake Pet Hospital has a 35 year legacy in the Bloomington / Eden Prairie community. We are a small animal and exotics practice that moved into a beautiful new facility during Summer 2024.

Role

Reporting into the Practice Manager, the Client Service Representative (CSR) provides an exceptional experience to clients during every interaction. The CSR performs practice administrative tasks such as record maintenance and appointment tracking. The CSR manages practice reception (visitor and telephone), maintenance of veterinary medical records, accounts maintenance, cash processing, data entry, word processing and mail services. The CSR applies knowledge of practice processes and services, basic rules and regulations governing visitors and animal patient treatment, and veterinary record requirements and terminology to ensure every patient is well cared for and every client has an exceptional experience.

Pay $17 - $19 per hour.
