Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year minimum experience at a veterinary hospital.
• 2+ years customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment with multi-tasking.
• Some computer knowledge required; comfortable with Word, keyboarding, and use of communication tools such as texting and email.

Responsibilities

• Answer client inquiries about routine animal care questions and educate on over-the-counter products.
• Admit patients and handle medical records entries accurately; prepare health certificates and discuss with clients.
• Handle cash transactions and balance the drawer at the end of the shift.
• Maintain a welcoming front desk and create a comfortable environment for clients.
• Enter/update client and patient information into practice software with accuracy.
