VCA Centennial Valley Animal Hospital in Louisville, CO is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist / Exam Room Assistant (ERA) to join our friendly, collaborative team. This full-time role focuses on exceptional client service and hands-on patient support in a AAHA-accredited, small animal hospital.

Responsibilities
- This is a dual-role position combining exceptional client service with hands-on patient support.
- Welcome clients and their pets with a warm, friendly attitude.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist clients with questions.
- Check clients in and out and ensure a smooth visit from start to finish.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately about their pet's care.
- Process payments and assist with estimates and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate client and patient information.
- Work closely with the medical team to keep appointments moving.
- Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient flow.
- Obtain and record patient histories and vital information.
- Assist doctors and technicians during appointments.
- Safely handle and restrain dogs, cats, and other species.
- Assist with collecting samples and basic patient care tasks.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
- Help maintain clean, organized treatment areas.
- Provide compassionate, Fear Free–focused handling to reduce stress.
- Assist with discharge instructions and client education.
