Job summary

Vernon Hills Animal Hospital in Mundelein, IL is seeking a Client Service Representative to deliver exceptional client experiences while managing reception, records, and scheduling for our diverse practice. The CSR will handle payments, reminders, and client communications, support doctors, and maintain accurate medical records with a friendly, organized approach to daily workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends.
• OSHA safety techniques including PPE.
• Experience in client service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and practice procedures.
• Ensures all public areas are clean and presentable for patients; cleans and straightens front desk, reception area, waiting area, office and exam rooms.
• Processes cash, checks, charge card payments and credit account payments.
• Schedules appointments for the clinic adhering to practice and Doctor preferences and ensures appropriate workflow.
• Assists in updating client/patient files, as needed.
• Prepares and sends client correspondence and reminders.
