Job summary

Heartland Veterinary Partners in Independence, KS is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to deliver an exceptional client experience in a true mixed animal practice.

You will manage reception, appointment scheduling, and client communications, maintain medical records, process payments, and support daily clinic operations while ensuring professional and friendly service during every visit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend availability may be required.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Client satisfaction references preferred.
• OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Leads front desk opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions.
• Maintains clean and presentable public areas including front desk, waiting area, and exam rooms.
• Processes cash, checks, card payments and credit accounts.
• Schedules appointments adhering to doctor preferences and clinic workflow.
• Updates client/patient files and medical records as needed.
• Prepares and sends client correspondence and reminder notices.
• Handles phone calls with proper etiquette and professional conduct.
• Assists in posting daily business and daily financials.
