Job summary

Heartland Veterinary Partners is seeking a Client Service Representative to manage front desk, records, and appointment tracking while delivering exceptional client experiences. You will interact with doctors, staff, and clients in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

Weekend availability is required. Pay ranges from USD $14 to $16 per hour, with benefits including health and dental insurance, PTO, retirement plans, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Client satisfaction references preferred.
• OSHA safety practices including PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening and closing procedures as directed.
• Keep public areas clean and presentable (front desk, waiting area, exam rooms).
• Process cash, checks, and credit card payments.
• Schedule appointments per Doctor preferences and workflow.
• Update client/patient files as needed.
• Prepare and send client correspondence and reminders.
• Back up the computer system regularly as directed.
• Post daily business activities.
• Welcome clients and patients with a friendly demeanor.
• Answer incoming calls with proper telephone etiquette.
• Present medications, instructions and take-home items to clients.
• Handle emergencies per clinic policies and procedures.
• Address client concerns to ensure satisfaction.
