Job summary

The Emma and Georgina Bloomberg Veterinary Center at Animal Care Centers of NYC seeks a friendly, organized front desk associate to greet clients and pets, guide them through check-in and check-out, and help them feel supported in a bright, modern space. You will bridge clients with veterinarians, LVTs, and social workers to ensure smooth flow and excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6–12 months of customer service or veterinary-related experience required.
• Computer literacy a must.
• You connect easily with people and pets.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Enhance client and patient experience through greeting, check-in/out, and guidance.
• Triage calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow.
• Process invoices and reconcile end-of-day transactions.
• Maintain clean, organized lobby and exam areas.
• Communicate with veterinarians, nurses, and social workers to coordinate care.
