Job summary

WellHaven is seeking a Veterinary Assistant in Minnesota to support veterinarians and technicians across clinical care, exams, and procedures. You will help with surgery, dentistry, laboratory work, venipuncture, and patient restraint while ensuring a sterile, efficient environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical charts, assisting with client education on wellness plans, and performing select reception duties such as scheduling and patient intake.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of experience in the veterinary industry.
• Completion of an NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in surgery, dentistry, lab work, and venipuncture.
• Maintain thorough medical charting and patient records.
• Educate clients about Wellness Plans and pet care.
