Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center of Thousand Oaks is seeking a Care Coordinator (Rotating Shifts) to support hospital operations with administrative and customer service excellence. You will help with lobby flow, appointments, and client communication while coordinating data in the practice management system.

Open, rotating shifts run 9AM-6PM, 3:30PM-12AM, and 7AM-3:30PM; experience in customer service and veterinary settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent.
• 1 year of Customer Service Representative experience.
• 1 year of Veterinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, on the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, and schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Assists with medication pickups and inquiries, and explains services.
• Inputs data in practice management software, including billing.
• Supports retail sales, weighs pets, processes faxes, and records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties.
