PetVet Care Centers' Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center of Thousand Oaks in Thousand Oaks, California, is seeking a Care Coordinator (Rotating Shifts) to join our team. This role provides administrative and customer service support, helping the hospital run smoothly and delivering a high level of client care.

The position involves open, rotating shifts with responsibilities from lobby management to data entry and basic clinical support.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent.
• 1 year of Customer Service Representative experience.
• 1 year of Veterinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and information about services and products.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions.
