Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and restrain animals as needed.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and multi-task.
• Comfort working with stressed or ill animals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and treatment.
• Monitor hospitalized pets and aid in post-surgery care.
• Maintain inventory, stocking and cleaning.
• Restrain animals during blood draws and nail trims.
• Assist with routine diagnostic tests (radiographs, bloodwork, fecal).
• Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Clean/Disinfect cages, kennels, and treatment areas.
• Administer medications under supervision.
• Feed and bathe animals.
• Answer phones and assist clients.
• Provide client education and answer pet-care questions.
