You will be a key part of a cohesive clinical team responsible for patient care, client communication, and smooth hospital operations.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, accurate EMR documentation, and collaboration with veterinarians and technicians to support surgeries, treatments, and recovery.

Qualifications

• Preferred at least 1 year of veterinary practice or equivalent animal care experience.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be compassionate and able to handle emotional situations professionally.
• Must have telephone and computer skills.
• Be a team player willing to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, record weights and vitals, and document in EMR.
• Assist doctors with appointments, surgeries, dentistry, and euthanasia as directed.
• Restrain patients, process samples, dispense medications and update records.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, relay results to doctors and clients.
• Support anesthesia prep and monitoring; ensure patient safety and discharge.
• Perform in-hospital treatments and monitor patients; maintain clean environment.
• Assist in training new staff and share knowledge as required.
• Keep hospital neat; perform routine cleaning as scheduled.
