You will assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, dentistry, and anesthesia, while maintaining accurate EMR records and ensuring a caring environment for pets and their owners.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year vet practice experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication required
• Must be compassionate and maintain professionalism under stress

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients and escort to exam room
• Record weight and vital signs and document in EMR
• Assist doctors with appointments, surgery, dentistry, euthanasia
• Handle medications and assist with anesthesia and recovery
• Maintain clean hospital environment and assist with training new staff
• Provide backup front desk support as needed
