$20-22hourly pay rate

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assistingour board-certified surgeons and specialty team during care and surgical procedures
• Taking patient histories,monitoringvitals, and performing patient check-in and discharge
• Performing in-hospital laboratory procedures and preparing specimens for outside laboratories
• Monitoring anesthesia and supporting pre- and post-operative patient care
• Performing surgical prep including shaving, sterile scrubbing, and instrument setup
• Maintainingaccurateand up-to-date medical records including treatment sheets and medication logs
• Performing and/orassistingwith diagnostic imaging, including radiographs and digital imaging
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment
• Delivering excellent customer service and professional communication to clients and referring veterinarians
• Supporting client education on discharge instructions, medications, and follow-up care

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of veterinary hospital experiencerequired
• Hands-on experience with anesthesia monitoring is required
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with multi-parameter monitoring equipment, as well as, inhalant and injectable anesthetic agents
  
• Experience in specialty or surgical veterinary medicine is strongly preferred
• Candidates in progress toward credentialing are highly encouraged to apply
• Strong communicationskills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-stress environment with professionalism and positivity
• Must be able tolift upto 40lbsand stand for extended periods
