Qualifications

• Current RVT license and DORA registration.
• Demonstrated experience in veterinary clinical settings.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor, support, and lead other team members.
• Preferred: AS/BS in Veterinary Technology; 5+ years RVT in specialty or emergency; CPR certifications; scheduling/operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technicians within your department.
• Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to technicians and department Leads.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence.
• Assist with complex cases and procedures within your area of expertise.
• Help ensure department protocols, workflows, and clinical standards are consistently followed.
• Support the development and competency progression of technicians.
• Serve as a clinical resource and leadership presence for the department.
• Assist the Supervisor and Leads with day-to-day clinical and operational needs.
