Qualifications

• Experience assisting veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Ability to perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection.
• Strong client communication and accurate medical record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients, gather histories, vitals, and assessments.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection.
• Take radiographs and maintain imaging standards.
• Run in‑house lab work (CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, fecals).
• Support surgical and dental procedures from prep to recovery.
• Educate clients on care, medications, and preventive care.
• Document patient care and treatments in the medical record.
