PetVet Care Centers Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital in Flat Rock, NC is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians, including cleaning, feeding, restraining, and clerical duties. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of veterinary experience, holds a high school diploma, and can work Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesday overnights.

Qualifications

• Two or more years' experience in a veterinary environment
• Ability to handle and restrain patients safely
• Strong client communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients
• Greet clients and guide to examining room; record weight and vital signs
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of facilities and equipment
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
