This role supports doctors and technicians, ensuring a smooth patient experience and high-quality care. You will handle and restrain patients, prepare samples for labs, and help maintain a clean, organized exam and treatment area.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant or in an animal handling environment such as groomers or day cares.
• Confidence in Fear Free handling and restraint techniques with dogs and cats.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Highly evolved organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, responsibly, and ethically.
• Resourceful nature and creative problem-solving skills.
• Openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning.
• Commitment to the welfare of animals.

Responsibilities

• Assist Doctors and Technicians in providing a seamless client and patient appointment experience.
• Handling and restraint of patients for consultation exams and patient sample collection.
• Handling and submission of patient samples to in-house and external laboratory.
• Thorough cleaning, organization, and stocking of appointment exam rooms and appointment treatment area.
