Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary assistant experience.
• Strong patient restraint and animal handling skills.
• Comfortable communicating with clients in routine and sensitive situations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative specialty setting.
• Current Washington Medical Veterinary Clerk License preferred; licensing assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Internal Medicine Specialist with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Safely restrain patients for examinations, imaging, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare patients for advanced diagnostics and specialty procedures.
• Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide compassionate client communication, including updates and discharge instructions.
• Maintain treatment areas, stock supplies, and support efficient daily workflow.
• Collaborate with Emergency and Specialty teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Deliver outstanding service to every patient and family.
