VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Veterinary Assistant in Aurora, Illinois. This role involves collaborating with veterinarians to provide comprehensive patient care, handling procedures, and ensuring a clean environment. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of veterinary experience, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
The position offers a pay range of $17.00 – $23.00/hour along with benefits including medical, dental, and paid time off. VCA is committed to employee growth and development.
Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10 hour weekday shifts.
Internal Medicine specialists are often considered the puzzle solvers of Veterinary Medicine. VCA Aurora’s Internal Medicine service is equipped to deal with whatever problem a patient brings—no matter how common or rare, or how simple or complex. Our Internal Medicine service diagnoses and treats the many serious diseases that can affect our patients' internal body systems.
The responsibilities of our Internal Medicine Veterinary Assistants include supporting the Internists and contributing to a collaborative environment to deliver thorough patient care. Our support staff are a vital reason we can help patients feel better and why pet parents feel a little more at ease because their family members are being cared for with great medicine and warm hearts.
