VCA Midwest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for the Internal Medicine service. This full-time role supports Internists and technicians, restrains and handles patients, and maintains clean, organized treatment areas while assisting with records and client communication.
The ideal candidate has 1+ year of veterinary assistant experience and demonstrates attention to detail, multitasking, and compassionate professional communication in a busy hospital
Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10 hour weekday shifts.
About Internal Medicine at VCA Midwest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center: Internal Medicine specialists are often considered the puzzle solvers of Veterinary Medicine. The responsibilities of our Internal Medicine Veterinary Assistants include supporting the Internists and contributing to a collaborative environment to deliver thorough patient care.
