Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program preferred or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months of experience in the veterinary industry.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in surgery, dentistry, lab procedures, venipuncture, restraint, and sterile technique.
• Contribute to day-to-day hospital efficiency and operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Maintain accurate medical charting meeting hospital quality standards.
• Educate clients about Wellness Plans and pet care guidance.
• Assist with reception duties: phone, appointments, patient intake/discharge.
• Obtain medical history and patient information.
• Manage hospital supplies and inventory.
• Complete assigned duties before shifts end.
• Advocate for hospital success and performance.
