Job summary

Wellhaven Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary team onsite in Minnesota. You will support veterinarians, educate clients, and deliver compassionate patient care across diagnostic and treatment areas.

The role requires completion of CVT/RVT/LVT licensing or credential, a high school diploma (associate degree a plus), and at least 1 year of hospital experience. Expect a fast-paced environment with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; CVT/RVT/LVT certification required/preferred.
1+ year veterinary hospital experience.
Ability to work onsite; no remote work.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians in examination, treatment, and monitoring of animals.
Prepare/analyze laboratory samples; operate lab equipment; record results.
Assist in surgical suites and during procedures; monitor anesthesia; provide post‑operative care.
Educate clients on wellness plans, nutrition, medications, and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate medical charts and hospital quality standards.
Ensure hospital equipment is maintained and supplies are stocked.
Triaging calls, scheduling appointments, and patient intake/discharge.
