Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant who supports veterinarians and technicians to ensure safe, high-quality care for pets. You’ll help educate clients on preventive care and participate in ongoing learning opportunities within Banfield.

The role emphasizes assisting in daily clinical tasks, maintaining hospital standards, and mentoring team members while supporting Pet wellness plans and client education.

Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program certificate or equivalent education/experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the flow of patients and assist veterinarians and vet techs.
• Communicate with the veterinarian and vet techs during procedures.
• Carry out or set up procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Adhere to hospital standards for pet safety and cleanliness of treatment areas.
