Qualifications

• Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure safety and continuity of care.
• Maintain flow of patients and assist with procedures as needed.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Communicate with the veterinarian and vet techs.
• Keep exam rooms, labs, and treatment areas clean and organized.
