Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians, ensuring the safety of pets, clients and staff while upholding high-quality care. You will help manage patient flow and assist with procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure safe, quality care for pets.
• Maintain patient flow and communication between clinicians and clients.
• Set up or carry out procedures under supervision.
• Keep treatment areas, exam rooms and labs clean and organized.
• Educate clients about wellness plans and preventive care; mentor team members.
