Qualifications

• Assist doctor with medical procedures under direct supervision.
• Provide written and verbal communication to clients about pet care and treatments.
• Lift at least 40 pounds.
• Certified veterinary technician (preferred).
• Associate degree in veterinary assisting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor with medical procedures under supervision.
• Help create positive impressions and build trust with clients and their pets.
• Educate clients on treatments and obtain consent for plans.
• Deliver excellent customer service to clients and their pets.
• Manage medical records through practice management software.
• Dispense medications, perform X-rays, blood draws, catheters, sample collection, vaccinations, and restraint as needed.
• Set up, clean, and maintain medical equipment; assist with hospital cleaning.
