Job summary

CityVet Lone Tree is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to support Veterinary Technicians and the care team in Lone Tree, Colorado. You will help prepare patients for procedures, assist with triage, and support front-office staff while maintaining a patient-centric approach.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 18 years old, and veterinary experience. You will contribute to a high-quality medicine focus and client education in a collaborative clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old at time of hire.
• At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Ability to properly and safely restrain animals.
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and medications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinary Technician in preparing patients for medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
• Collaborate with VT/ veterinarians to triage patients per client needs in a fast-paced setting.
• Record observations and treatment plans in patient files; support medical treatments under doctor supervision.
• Support Client Service Specialist team as needed.
• Maintain strong client communication and care standards.
